Here’s something I found during my goof-off day yesterday. It’s about 12 min long but worth it.

Entertaining and informative, but flawed.
First off the guy missed the best (though most difficult) method of inducing artificial gravity, simple linear acceleration of the spacecraft. This was a common method in much of Larry Niven’s writing including the novel Ringworld, of course it took the Niven ‘fusion drive’ to make that practical with rocket propulsion.
The other flaw was about 2001. From what I remember the Discovery 1 centrifuge was not supposed to simulate 1G, more like 1/6G. And what about the 2001 classic donut shaped space station? He ignored that.
