So in the past I have blogged about going to a writers workshop, and man that is something I would love to do. I feel like my writing is scratching at the door and that I’ve almost unlocked it. That with just the right mix of growth and direction I break through and maybe start selling. A workshop with professionals might be the tool that would make it happen.

I have WorldCon inChicagothis year, and LosCon in LA but aside from that no out of town cons to suck up my paid time off and cash, so I was thinking about workshops.

Really I was thinking about Viable Paradise the only workshop in my budget both in terms of money and in terms of time.

But, it is not going to happen for 2012. Our automobile is acting wonky and we’re seriously thinking about replacing it, possibly as soon as this weekend, a commitment of resources that would preclude any other major expenses this fiscal year.

Oh well, you can do it without workshops, the question is can *I* do it without workshops?
