I am also really surprised at the percentage of the books that I have actually read. I need to get some translations of the more obscure foriegn language ones – or learn french and Spanish, whichever takes less time.

I expect homage for my geek-cred in knowing and noticing this: The work by Horace Walpole (commonly acknowledged as the first gothic novel) is the Castle of Otranto, not Oranto.
